A 20-year-old woman who was killed in a single-vehicle collision in Palm Desert was identified Monday.
Jamie Licht of Riverside was fatally injured around 10:20 a.m. Friday in the area of Fred Waring Drive and Cook Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Upon arrival, deputies found a vehicle with major damage and the driver, who was the sole occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the collision was under investigation.
