A motorcycle rider suffered major injuries in a collision with a vehicle southwest of El Cariso, near Lake Elsinore, authorities said Monday.
The crash was reported at 3:21 p.m. Sunday on Ortega (74) Highway, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The motorcycle rider was taken to a hospital by air ambulance for treatment of major injuries, and the vehicle driver was taken to a hospital by ground ambulance for treatment of moderate injuries, fire officials said. No other injuries were reported.
