Police were searching Wednesday for a crew of armed suspects who robbed two residents during a home-invasion in Woodland Hills.
Officers responded around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to reports of an armed robbery in the 22700 block of Erwin Street between Fallbrook and Sale avenues, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The suspects entered the home through the backyard and held the two residents at gunpoint while stealing thousands of dollars in cash and valuable jewelry before fleeing, police said.
No suspect descriptions were immediately available.
A second break-in was reported early Wednesday in the 3400 block of Valley Meadow Road in nearby Sherman Oaks, according to police. In that case, the suspects entered through a bedroom window but fled after tripping an alarm, police said.
