Kushani Boyd was last seen at about 10 p.m. Monday near Sicily Lane and San Remo Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert Tuesday on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

Kushani was described as a 5-foot-5-inch-tall girl weighing 125 pounds with black and green hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt and black pants.

Anyone with information regarding Kushani’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.

The Ebony Alert was also in effect in Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties.

Ebony Alerts are issued to help locate missing Black children, teenagers, and young adults ages 12 to 25 who have disappeared under unexplained or suspicious circumstances, or who are at risk, developmentally disabled, cognitively impaired, or abducted.
