Police Wednesday were searching for a band of armed suspects who allegedly robbed the homeowners at a residence in Woodland Hills.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to reports of an armed robbery in the 22700 block of Erwin Street between Fallbrook and Sale avenues.

The suspects held the homeowners at gunpoint while they stole money and jewelry before running away, police said.

There was no suspect description.

According to KTLA, a second break-in occurred in the 3400 block of Valley Meadow Road in nearby Sherman Oaks, but the would-be burglars fled after entering through a bedroom window and tripping an alarm.
