A 27-year-old man who was shot to death outside a bar in South Los Angeles was identified Monday.
The shooting occurred shortly before 4 a.m. Saturday in the area of Figueroa and 120th streets, according to Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was identified on Monday by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as Abner Ramirez Cruz, who sustained a gunshot wound to the chest.
CBS2 reported that the shooting occurred outside El Diamante Sports Bar, 12002 S. Figueroa St., where officers found a man on the sidewalk outside the bar suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
