A homeowner opened fire on two alleged burglary suspects early Tuesday morning in Studio City.
Officers responded about 4:40 a.m. to the 11600 block of Laurelcrest Drive to investigate a report of a shooting.
They learned a homeowner fired shots at what were believed to be two burglary suspects who fled in a black Chevrolet Traverse SUV, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
It was unknown if the suspects or the vehicle were struck by gunfire and the matter remains under investigation, an officer said.
No descriptions were immediately available.
