A 58-year-old woman was killed Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash in San Jacinto.

Deputies from the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station responded at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday near Warren Road and Ramona Expressway to a report regarding a crash, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

A driver from the crash was discovered unresponsive upon the arrival of deputies and was taken to a hospital in critical condition, where she later died.

Sheriff’s officials said the other motorist remained at the scene and did not sustain any injuries.

Detectives from the San Jacinto Traffic Team assumed the investigation, but have not determined whether alcohol or drugs were a contributing factor to the crash. No arrests were made during the investigation.

The deceased victim was later identified by investigators as Latrenda Mitchell of Hemet. Anyone with additional information regarding the fatal collision was urged to call San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station Deputy Valencia at 951-654-2702 or Riverside County sheriff’s dispatch at 951-776-1099.
