A 28-year-old Riverside man with mental health difficulties who vanished a week ago was the subject of a region-wide search Friday.
Mark Anthony Vasquez was last seen last Friday in the area of Mission Inn Avenue and Mulberry Street in downtown Riverside, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The agency stated that Vasquez’s loved ones reported him missing when he didn’t return home. Vasquez is listed as an “at-risk” adult.
His whereabouts were unknown Friday.
The missing man is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair to his neck. Recent pictures also indicate he has facial hair.
He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with white stripes, dark-colored pants and white sneakers.
No other details were available, including the nature of Vasquez’s complications nor the direction he may have been heading.
