A 19-year-old man suspected in the October 2025 fatal shootings of two men in Santa Clarita has been arrested, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced Wednesday.
Sheriff’s personnel responded at about 11:25 p.m. on Oct. 31 to the 25000 block of De Wolfe Road, near Wiley Canyon Road, to assist Santa Clarita deputies with reports regarding a shooting death, authorities said.
Deputies located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. One victim, identified as 30-year-old Elijah Harts, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, 27-year-old Anthony Mora, was taken to a hospital where he later died.
The shooting stemmed from a fight at a Halloween party, where two men were last seen fleeing in an undisclosed direction, authorities said.
