Heavy flames damaged the second floor and converted attic of a Craftsman-style house in the Arlington Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles Saturday.
The fire was reported at 5:13 p.m. Saturday at 1504 S. Wilton Place, at 15th Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Margaret Stewart.
The flames that were showing from the second floor were out at 5:34 p.m., Stewart said.
No civilian injuries were reported, but one firefighter suffered a minor injury and was being assessed, she said.
No other structures were damaged, Stewart said.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
