A 73-year-old Anaheim man with multiple convictions for indecent exposure was charged Monday with doing it twice more in a shopping center parking lot in Fullerton.
Marshal James Leonard was charged with two felony counts of indecent exposure with prior convictions and a count of sale or transport of methamphetamine, according to court records.
Leonard pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana Monday. He was due in court again Feb. 19 for a pretrial hearing in the North Justice Center in Fullerton.
Leonard has a lengthy criminal history of drug-related convictions dating back to 1995 and failing register as a sex offender, according to court records.
Leonard was accused of exposing himself on June 27, 2025, and Jan. 26, according to court records.
In last year’s incident, police were dispatched to the 1800 block of West Malvern Avenue for engaging in “lewd behavior” in his vehicle with the window down, police said.
Police were dispatched again to the same block last month regarding the same suspect in a vehicle with his pants down, police said.
Leonard successfully petitioned the court to be removed from the sex offender registration in 2023, police said.
