Three people were taken to a hospital Monday morning after the Tesla they were in caught fire during a crash in Winnetka.
The crash and fire were reported at 7:46 a.m. Monday in the 20600 block of Nordhoff Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department, which took three patients to a hospital. Their ages, genders and conditions were not immediately available.
A hazardous materials crew was summoned due to an electric vehicle being involved.
The fire was quickly extinguished, LAFD spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton said.
