An auto theft suspect was taken into custody Thursday in the Sawtelle area of Los Angeles.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the vehicle’s owner reported the theft to the Glendale Police Department, but it was unclear exactly where the car was stolen.
Early Thursday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol tracked the vehicle as the suspect traveled to the West Los Angeles area.
Shortly after 1:30 p.m., the suspect was taken into custody near Olympic and Sawtelle boulevards.
No information about the suspect was immediately available, and no injuries were reported.
