A man was taken to a hospital for life-threatening injuries following a shooting this evening in Culver City.
Officers responded shortly before 8 p.m. to reports of shots fired in the 6000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard, according to a spokeswoman for the Culver City Police Department.
Detectives determined after a preliminary investigation that a man had sustained a gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital in critical condition, with officers establishing a containment to locate the suspects.
Police said additional resources were responding to the location to assist with the investigation.
The motive for the shooting was not immediately provided.
