An investigation was underway Friday into the fatal shooting of two people in the community of Thermal after deputies discovered the victims late Wednesday night.
Deputies responded to a report of “two deceased subjects” at 11:33 p.m. in the 67000 block of Polk Street, according to Deirdre Vickers of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Evidence of a shooting was found at the scene, and no arrests have been made, Vickers said.
The investigation remained ongoing, and additional details were not immediately available.
