Palm Springs police announced Thursday that two roads previously closed due to flooding have reopened, while another key route remains shut down.
North Gene Autry Trail between East Via Escuela and Salvia Road and Vista Chino between Clubhouse View Drive and the city limits reopened Thursday, police said.
However, North Indian Canyon Drive between Sunrise Parkway and Garnet Avenue through the wash remained closed.
Police first issued a road closure alert for North Gene Autry Trail shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday, followed by Vista Chino about an hour later. Indian Canyon Drive has remained closed since Tuesday afternoon.
