Phone services at the Palm Springs Police Department’s dispatch center were operating normally Monday following temporary connectivity issues caused by wind-related disruptions last week.
A temporary phone service advisory was issued Feb. 18 after the dispatch center experienced intermittent connectivity problems, according to the department.
During the outage, 911 calls were routed to the Cathedral City Police Department to ensure emergency calls were received without interruption, while non-emergency lines remained operational but experienced delays or missed calls.
Phone services were fully restored by Saturday, police said.
