A fire broke out Tuesday at a single-story mobile home in Desert Hot Springs before it was stopped.

The non-injury blaze was reported shortly before 11:40 a.m. Tuesday in the 17500 block of Corkill Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The agency said arriving crews encountered light smoke coming from one of the rooms, and it was contained a few minutes later to a bedroom.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
