A search was continuing Tuesday for a suspect in a Lynwood shooting that left a 29-year-old man dead.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lynwood Station responded at 1:15 a.m. Feb. 16 to the 11800 block of State Street at Josephine Street regarding a shooting, LASD Deputy Tracy Koerner told City News Service.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
He was identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office as Victor De La Torre.
Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives were investigating the killing, but no suspect information was immediately available.
