A possible car-to-car shooting in Reseda led to a brief police pursuit that ended Tuesday with one suspect in custody and another still at large.
The time of the shooting was not immediately clear. According to a report from the scene, officers responded to a shots-fired call in the area of Corbin Avenue and Valerio Street in Reseda.
A white sedan riddled with bullet holes was visible at the scene.
Officers began pursuing the suspects around 5:05 a.m., and the chase ended in the 19200 block of Calvert Street in Tarzana, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The suspects abandoned their vehicle and fled on foot, police said.
Police established a perimeter in the neighborhood, and by about 9:20 a.m., one suspect had been taken into custody while a second remained outstanding, an LAPD officer said.
The shooting victim self-transported to a hospital and was reported to be in stable condition, the officer said.
A detailed description of the male suspect being sought was not immediately available.
