The driver of an overturned semitrailer is hospitalized Thursday after it crashed into the bushes near the right shoulder on the Foothill (210) Freeway in La Verne.
The California Highway Patrol received multiple 911 calls at 2:56 a.m. Thursday regarding the overturned semi on the westbound freeway and Fruit Street, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
The victim — whose name, gender and age were not immediately known — was taken to Pomona Valley Hospital in Pomona by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics with minor injuries.
The crash damaged a freeway guardrail, according to reports from the scene.
