A Feather Alert was activated Thursday for a 17-year-old girl last seen in Wildomar.
Anna Urita was last seen at approximately 3:31 p.m. Dec. 26 near Sexton and Union streets, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Anna is Native American, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, gray sweatpants and was seen carrying a pink backpack. Authorities believe Anna is traveling on foot.
Anyone who has seen Anna or knows of her whereabouts was asked to call 911.
The Feather Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts in cases involving the suspicious or unexplained disappearance of Indigenous individuals.
