A man who was shot outside a bar in San Pedro is not cooperating with police as they began their investigation of the shooting,
Officers from Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Division responded at 2:15 a.m to reports of a shooting with a victim down in front of a bar at the intersection of Seventh and Mesa streets, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
The officers found evidence of a shooting, but could not find the victim at the scene. Later, they were able to track him and his father down at a hospital, police said.
But according to officers, the victim has not cooperated with police regarding who shot at him or other details surrounding the shooting.
It was not immediately known how serious the victim’s injuries may be.
