A fire at a residence in the South Los Angeles neighborhood of Green Meadows was quickly extinguished Friday.
Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded at 5:51 a.m. to 826 E. 112th St., west of Wadsworth Avenue, where they found the fire, said LAFD spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton.
It took 36 firefighters 18 minutes to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported.
