A Silver Alert was activated Friday for an at-risk 74-year-old man last seen in Baldwin Park
Rigoberto Castillo-Gomez was last spotted at about 8:30 a.m. on Thursday near Bogart Avenue and Palmrose Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Baldwin Park Police Department.
Castillo-Gomez was described as a 5-foot-5-inch-tall man weighing 145 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a burgundy long-sleeve shirt, a black leather jacket, blue jeans, a black hat, and brown boots.
Anyone with information regarding Castillo-Gomez’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
