A 40-year-old man killed in a shooting in Palmdale was identified by county authorities Monday.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Department responded at approximately 11:30 p.m. Thursday to the rear parking lot of the Palms Inn & Suites in the 400 block of West Palmdale Boulevard, west of the southbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway, where they found the victim, Lt. Daniel Vizcarra said.
The Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as Byron Prejean, who was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.
His place of residence was not immediately available.
No suspect information has been made available.
