A collision involving a vehicle and a bicyclist prompted a temporary road closure Wednesday on northbound Highway 111 in Palm Springs.
The crash was reported shortly after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the area of SR-111 and Tramway Road, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
The circumstances of the crash were not immediately available.
The driver, who was not identified, was cooperative with investigators, police said.
The cause of the collision remained under investigation.
