Firefighters from the Riverside County Fire Department were at the scene of a rollover crash in Coachella Sunday with a person requiring extrication.
The crash was reported around 11:20 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Grapefruit Boulevard and Leoco Lane, where firefighters found a vehicle with one person trapped. The person was extricated from the vehicle and rushed to a trauma center by air ambulance.
It wasn’t clear if there were additional vehicles involved.
Identifying information on the victim was not immediately available.
The cause of the crash was unclear.
