A woman was wounded in an Exposition Park home when a gun went off while a man was unloading it, authorities said Monday.
The shooting occurred at 6:09 p.m. Sunday at a house in the 1800 block of West 39th Street, near Gramercy Place, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.
The woman, believed in her 30s, was taken to a hospital by ambulance with stable vital signs, he said.
Officers took the 35-year-old man into custody, the spokesman said.
