A Silver Alert was in effect Tuesday on behalf of an at-risk 83-year-old man last seen in Westminster .
Lloyd Cleland was last seen Monday at 11:30 p.m. on Hoover and Wyoming streets, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Westminster Police Department.
Cleland is white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 175 pounds, has gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue shorts and blue shoes.
He was believed to be traveling on foot.
Anyone with information regarding Cleland’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
