Sheriff’s detectives Wednesday are continuing their investigation of the death of a man found shot in an alley near the Palmdale International Shopping Mall in Palmdale.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Department Palmdale Station responded at around 12:12 p.m. Tuesday to an alley near the 1000 block of East Palmdale Boulevard and 10th Street East, where they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds, LASD Tracy Koerner told City New Service.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.
Video from the scene showed a man lying face-up as deputies strung yellow crime tape around the area where they found the victim, and a woman can be seen sobbing at the scene as a deputy attempted to calm and console her.
