Indio police announced Friday an investigation was underway into a “suspicious circumstances” incident involving a man and a child at College of the Desert’s Child Development Center in Indio. There were no further details about the nature of the incident.
An investigation started shortly after 9 p.m. Monday, according to the Indio Police Department. Police did not provide any further descriptions of the involved parties.
Detectives assumed the investigation and a search warrant was executed at the center the following day.
“No further comment can be made at this time due to the ongoing investigation,” police said.
