Firefighters Saturday knocked down a small fire on the first floor of a two-story vacant home in the Pico-Union community of Los Angeles, authorities said.

Firefighters dispatched at 8:06 am. Saturday to 1232 S. Bonnie Brae St. had the fire out within 11 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
