A Silver Alert was in effect in Los Angeles County Sunday for an at-risk 84-year-old man who went missing in Los Angeles.
Robert Turner was last seen about 9 a.m. Saturday in Los Angeles, on foot, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert Sunday morning on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department. He was last seen on West 3rd Street and South George Burns Road.
Turner was described as a 6-foot tall man weighing 185 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray sweater, gray pants and a gray beanie.
Anyone with information regarding Turner’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
