Sheriff’s detectives Tuesday are investigating a shooting in Lynwood that left one man wounded and the shooter on the loose.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Department’s Lynwood Station responded at approximately 11:40 p.m. Monday to the 4000 block of Imperial Highway and Comish Avenue regarding a shooting. When they arrived at the scene, deputies found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, a Lynwood Station watch commander told City News Service.
The victim was taken to a hospital by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics in an unknown condition.
There was no suspect description.
