A man was hospitalized Wednesday after he was shot by an assailant, who remains on the loose, during an altercation in South Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Police Department officers from the department’s 77th Division responded at approximately 2 a.m. Wednesday to 81st Street and Stanford Avenue, where they learned the victim and the suspect were engaged in an argument, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
The suspect shot the victim and ran away from the scene and the victim was taken to a hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel in stable condition, police said.
There was no suspect information.
