Long Beach Police Department officers Friday are continuing their investigation into a stabbing in the North Alamitos Beach neighborhood in Long Beach.
Police were called at approximately 5:25 p.m. Wednesday to the 300 block of Orange Avenue and East Seventh Street regarding a stabbing. Upon their arrival, the officers found a man suffering from a stab wound to the upper body, police said.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene and took the victim to a hospital. The suspect fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival, police said
The motive, circumstances and suspect information are under investigation.
