An at-risk 76-year-old woman was reported missing after being last seen Friday in Gardena, prompting the issuance of a Silver Alert.
Teresa Regaldo was last seen at approximately 4 p.m. Friday near Cerise Avenue and West 154th Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Regaldo was described as a 5-foot-2-inch-tall woman weighing 165 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and light pink slippers.
Anyone with information regarding Regaldo’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
