Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Department’s Carson Station are asking for the public’s help Saturday locating a critical missing 12-year-old girl who authorities say suffers from a mental health condition and reportedly disappeared in Carson.
Laya Bueno was last seen Thursday at 1:30 p.m. on the 22100 block of South Figueroa Street and West 220th Street, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
Laya is Asian, 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighs 100 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and a gold necklace with a green jade pendant.
