The California Highway Patrol Sunday issued an Endangered Missing Advisory to help the Los Angeles Police Department locate an 11-year-old boy who went missing from the Gramercy Park area of South Los Angeles.
Michael Bowers was last seen about 9:10 a.m. Saturday at West 87th Street and La Salle Avenue, according to the CHP.
Bowers is Black, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a black hoodie and red-and-white plaid pajama bottoms. He is believed to be riding a scooter.
Anyone who sees Bowers or knows where he is was urged to call 911. It was unclear why Bowers was considered endangered.
The CHP issues an Endangered Missing Advisory to help locate a child or other endangered person who has been abducted or is unable to care for themselves and their safety is at risk.
