A person was injured during an attached garage fire to a two-story home in Lake Forest, authorities said Sunday.
The victim was treated at the scene and then taken to a hospital, according to the Orange County Fire Authority. The person’s condition was not immediately provided.
Firefighters were dispatched to the residence at approximately 6:07 p.m. Saturday, in the 21000 block of Tahoe Lane.
“Our firefighters rapidly knocked down the fire before it could extend to the adjacent home,” according to a fire department statement.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
