A woman was stabbed at a downtown Los Angeles park Tuesday morning by a suspect who remained on the run, authorities said.
The attack was reported at about 10:15 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Hope Street and Olympic Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The woman was conscious and breathing when taken to a hospital, police said.
She was stabbed in the neck, according to a broadcast report.
The suspect was described as a man about 30 years old with dreadlocks. He fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.
