A fire broke out Wednesday at a residence in La Quinta.
The blaze was reported shortly before 10:40 a.m. Wednesday in the 80300 block of Torreon Way, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency said crews encountered heavy fire coming from the garage and a second alarm response was requested.
No injuries were immediately reported.
The cause of the fire was unclear.
