Authorities continued their investigation Wednesday into the death of a man found behind a trash enclosure in Banning.
Officers responded to a report of a “subject down” shortly after 9:40 a.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of West Ramsey Street, according to the Banning Police Department.
They found a dead man between a McDonald’s and Interstate 10, who was believed to have been homeless.
Police said foul play was not believed to a factor at this time, and the identity of the victim was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
