Police Wednesday are searching for possible suspects in a shooting near the Upper Westside neighborhood and the Long Beach (710) Freeway in Long Beach.
Long Beach Police Department officers were called at approximately 12:32 a.m. Monday to the 2900 block of Gale Avenue, west of the freeway, regarding a shots fired call.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found evidence of a crime and determined a no-hit shooting had occurred, the police department said.
The suspect or suspects ran from the scene prior to their officers’ arrival, the department said. No injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.
