A swatting call Monday morning temporarily shut down Carson High School, authorities said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was notified at about 10:45 a.m. Monday of a possible bomb threat at the school, located at 22328 S. Main St., according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
It was subsequently determined that the report was a “swatting” call — a false 911 call — and the school was re-opened at 12:15 p.m.
