A 31-year-old woman found stabbed to death on a street in the South Park area of Los Angeles was identified by authorities Monday.
The victim was identified as Genesis Chan Pech, who died from multiple stab wounds, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
Officers were called about 2:27 p.m. Sunday to the 5000 block of Wall Street, where they found the woman suffering from what police described as signs of trauma, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers began lifesaving efforts, but she was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No suspect information was available.
