Fire damaged a two-story detached dwelling Tuesday in the rear of a home in the Eagle Rock community of Los Angeles, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 6:43 a.m. to 1841 N. Avenue 52 had the fire out within 31 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
“Minor ember cast to a neighboring yard extinguished with no further structures involved,” said Lyndsey Lantz of the Los Angeles Fire Department. “No injuries reported.”
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
