A 32-year-old man suspected of stabbing his parents in Woodland Hills was being sought by police Wednesday.
Officers assigned to the LAPD’s Topanga Division responded at approximately 11 a.m. Monday to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 20500 block of Ventura Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
They discovered two victims suffering from multiple stab wounds, and identified Adam Courtney Brown as the suspect. Brown allegedly stabbed both of his parents, causing significant life-threatening injuries, before fleeing the scene.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived at the location and took one of the victims to a hospital, while a witness took the other victim to a hospital. Both were said to have stable vital signs, but the extent of their injuries was not disclosed.
According to police, Brown is believed to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Police said he utilizes public transportation and is known to frequent Palmdale, Hollywood and the Woodland Hills area.
